Tyagarajam Bhajeham
Dance drama depicting the life and works of the saint-musician Sri Tyagaraja, with the saint’s original kritis. The biographical ballet presents some important incidents of his life, starting from his birth till his samadhi, and his legendary devotion to Rama.
A hallmark of this ballet is that, true to the spirit of its main subject, it presents several rare kritis by Sri Tyagaraja in unique ragas in their entirety, thanks to the valuable guidance of Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna.
